You deserve a leader that can restore trust and faith in government. That will put people first and focus on what unites us not divides us. We must respect each other's unique and authentic self and work together to reimagine an American Democracy that is all-inclusive.

1. Job Growth
We will get America back to work, grow the economy from the bottom up and middle out. We have been successful at COVID-19 defense after 2 years of disruption. It is time to fill Ohio’s open jobs in retail, hospitality, transportation and invest in Union jobs in manufacturing, clean energy and technology. We must raise wages for Ohio workers and the middle class. We have several challenges that impact our families with rising food cost, paying rent, mortgage and buying gas. We will upskill our workforce, create talent pipeline through bootcamps, apprenticeship, development and training programs and get Ohioans back to working at higher levels of pay.
2. Affordable Healthcare
Ohioans are facing increase cost of prescription drugs and our seniors are feeling it in there pockets. To many seniors are forced to choose between paying for prescription drugs or putting food on the table. We will guarantee access to affordable, quality health care and ensure health care is a right not a privilege and every Ohioian will have access to healthcare regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, religion or income.
3. Student loan forgiveness
We must reform the system and provide loan relief now. Student loan borrowers in the U.S. owe $1.6 trillion in federal and private loans. The average student in Ohio graduates with $40,000 to $80,000 of debt. This debt follows many Americans late into their and prevent students for achieving life goals like getting married, having children, buying a home, pursuing you’re their American dream. Student loan debt lowers credit scores and impact purchasing power and if students default on their student loans it can impact their credit score for 7 years. We must focus on options for Student loan forgiveness and make college affordable for the future of our children.
KEEP OUR COMMUNITIES SAFE
1. Crime/Gun Violence
Cleveland, Dayton, Akron and Cincinnati. have ranked in the nation’s top 50 in homicides and Columbus and Toledo have set new homicide records. Ohioans have consistently voiced their support for reasonable increases in gun controls, but their voices are not being heard. Ohio fails to require background checks on private sales and doesn't regulate assault weapons or large-capacity ammunition magazines. We must close the gun show loophole!
There is no good reason for our streets to be flooded with weapons easily accessible for the use in robbery, homicide, domestic abuse and accidental discharge. Examine the root causes of crime and gun violence, we must get people back to work making a livable wage. Expand public transportation so people can get to higher paying jobs on the bus line. Invest opioid, treatment, recovery, prevention services because majority crimes are committed under the influence of drugs or alcohol and mental health facilities, so people can get the support that they need.
2. Criminal Justice Reform
Our prisons system is used to deal with issues of homelessness, poverty and mental illness. We have a criminal justice system that works for the wealthy and penalizes the poor. We must address issues the eliminate racial profiling, focus police brutality, reduce mass incarceration and recidivism and create a rehabilitation that works so people can have a second chance. We Pass George Floyd Justice in Police Reform Act, Eliminate prision for lower-level crimes like petty theft and selling marijuana. Create a criminal justice system that operate fairly and ensure the dignity and humanity inmate and reduce the rate in which people are incarcerated.
